Scott Hanadel

My name is Scott E Hanadel.  I am a Wealth Management Advisor with Farm Bureau Financial Services. I have been an advisor for more than 8 years. Prior, I was a co-owner of a small business and was also the manager and commercial sales representative in the hardware business for 9 years. In the mid-to-late nineties, I wrote my own NFL and Fantasy Football reports and made many appearances as a guest expert on dozens of radio stations in Wisconsin pertaining to the NFL and NFL player draft. I also co-hosted fantasy football programs at various venues in Green Bay on the very popular 107.5 The Fan radio.

I have worked with the public for more than 40 years, starting in my brothers-in-laws sport shop at age 13. I enjoy spending time with people of all ages. I love to laugh and have fun, but I also know when it’s time to be serious. They say those that sing to themselves are generally happy people, well that’s good because I do sing to myself on a regular basis (probably more than my family likes).

I come from a large family with 7 sisters and 1 brother, as well as lots of nieces and nephews.  You should see the gatherings during the holidays – unbelievable!

Spending time outdoors is very important to me, I enjoy gardening, grilling, and smoking all kinds of tasty dishes. I also enjoy feeding and watching the many species of birds we have throughout the entire year. And for me, fishing on a lake in northern Wisconsin is an addiction which I try to satisfy a few times each year. I also love watching sports, and I am a fan of the pro sports teams here in the state, but nothing beats my Wisconsin Badgers – On Wisconsin!

I saved my immediate family for last. My wife’s name is Mary and she runs our household. She is very dedicated to family and has always made sure we were all taken care. She has always been an extremely hard worker, and I cannot remember her missing a day of work. She enjoys spending time with the kids and grandkids. During the growing months, you can find her in her flower beds which encompass about 50% of our house’s total perimeter. We have two girls, Amy and Andrea, who are married to a couple of good men. They each have a daughter and a son. Grandpa Scott loves to spoil his grandkids. The girls are the two eldest and are followed by our two sons, Eric and our youngest Lane. Both are fine young men who possess a quality I hold in high regard; they are hard workers. Mary and I couldn’t be more proud of the kids, who are all very successful and the four grandkids they have given us, with more to come – right boys!
